Privacy policy

How Vertexa Technologies Limited collects, uses and protects personal data.

Last updated: this policy is maintained in the CMS and should be reviewed by your legal counsel before launch.

Who we are

Vertexa Technologies Limited ("Vertexa", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us using the details on our contact page.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. When you submit an enquiry, request a quote, apply for a role or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect the details you provide in that form.
  • Recruitment data. If you apply for a role we collect your CV, covering letter and any supporting documents you attach.
  • Usage information. We record page views using a first-party measurement system. It does not set a cookie and does not store your IP address; visitors are distinguished by a salted hash that changes daily.
  • Optional analytics. If you consent, third-party analytics and marketing tags may set cookies as described in our cookie policy.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you request (contract and legitimate interests).
  • To assess job applications (legitimate interests and, where applicable, steps prior to a contract).
  • To send our newsletter, where you have subscribed (consent). Every message includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it (legitimate interests for first-party measurement; consent for third-party analytics).
  • To protect the site against abuse, including rate limiting and spam detection (legitimate interests).

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: 24 months from last contact.
  • Unsuccessful job applications: 12 months, unless you ask us to keep them longer.
  • Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe.
  • Page view records: 26 months in aggregate form.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf under written instructions — our hosting provider, email delivery service and, where you have consented, analytics providers. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses together with a transfer risk assessment.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port and object to our processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details on our contact page. You also have the right to complain to your data protection supervisory authority.

Security

We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access control on a least-privilege basis, audit logging of administrative activity, and storage of uploaded documents outside the public web root.
