You will lead data engineering on client engagements and on Vertexa Lumen, our managed analytics platform.
A significant part of the role is convincing stakeholders that data quality work is the project rather than a delay to it. We will back you.
What you will do
- Design and build batch and streaming pipelines
- Own dimensional models and the governed metric layer
- Establish data quality testing as a standard practice
- Lead a small team of data engineers and analysts
What we are looking for
- Six or more years in data engineering with production ownership
- Strong SQL and Python; dbt and a modern orchestrator in anger
- Dimensional modelling experience with real trade-offs behind it
- Cloud data warehouse experience — BigQuery, Snowflake or Redshift
